We've got three amazing original acts lined up to share their stories and songs with you.
Leading the charge, as always, is our magnificent host and incredible songwriter, Nikki Rous. Having hosted our showcase for over 7 years, Nikki is a master at connecting with audiences through her powerful, honest, and truly moving songs. Her performances are always a genuinely memorable experience!
Joining her, we're thrilled to welcome Louis James! Many of you might know him as the frontman for Little Ghost or guitarist for The Wind Up, but tonight he's showcasing his brilliant solo work. Expect seriously good tunes from this seasoned writer and producer.
And rounding out this stellar lineup, we have the incredibly talented Macy O! Get ready for some high-energy vibes and heartfelt storytelling. Macy's a dynamic performer, known for popular tracks like 'I'm Your High' and her award-winning songwriting. Her debut album 'Journeys' is packed with relatable experiences, and she brings that passion to every show.

MACY O
Hello, I’m Macy O and I’m a singer songwriter. I have been singing all my life, starting off with musical theatre, but then writing my original material since 2020. My first single ‘Thank them’, dedicated to the NHS, marked the beginning of my journey as an artist. In 2022 I wrote ‘I’m Your High’, a popular dance track (which has now accumulated 48,000 streams). I started gigging in 2022 and have performed at various venues across the UK including the cavern club. I have also performed at many festivals and on BBC introducing stages. In 2023, my song ‘love rampage’ managed to win me a young songwriter competition. I try my best to be a high energy performer, performing many genres including pop, classical, Motown, dance and ballads. I also cover a large period of time ranging from the 1940’s to now. In 2023, I released my debut album ‘journeys’ on all streaming platforms. Each song encapsulated something I had experienced, and I aimed to make it emotional and something the listener could relate to. Music is a passion of mine and always will be and I aim to make that clear in my performances.

I'm a singer/songwriter/producer who is the frontman for Little Ghost and guitarist for The Wind Up. I've been writing and recording songs for over ten years and have released two solo albums On Me Todd and my latest release In Glorious Colour.

NIKKI ROUS
Nikki Rous is no stranger to performing. She first stepped onto a stage at the age of 5 and trained as a dancer for many years. Over the course of her childhood and teenage years she travelled the dance festivals and performed at countless shows around the UK. When she turned 17 Nikki won a place at one of the UK's most prestigious stage schools and around the same time she bought herself a guitar and started teaching herself to play. She discovered artists such as Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Tori Amos, Sinead O’ Connor, Skunk Anansie, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Radiohead, PJ Harvey, Portishead, Bjork, Alanis Morissette and many more musicians that inspire her still to this day.
Nikki was born with a rare genetic connective tissue disease called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) which causes a whole host of physical and mental challenges. She is an advocate for disabilities, invisible illnesses and mental health. For the content of her song writing, she draws on relatable experiences as well as the emotional challenges of living with a disability which produces some very honest and heartfelt songs. What she crafts is emotive, passionate and moving. Over the years Nikki has developed a connected and buoyant rapport with her audiences which makes her performance both scintillating and a genuinely memorable experience.

Nikki has performed alongside and opened up shows for artists such as Jamiroquai, Level 42, Kaiser Chiefs, James, Supergrass, Miles Hunt, Nick Harper and many more. She has graced the stages of venues and festivals up and down the country such as The Wolves Civic Halls, The Jamhouse, The Glee Club, The Robin 2, Tamworth Assembly Rooms, Solfest, Nozstock, Lakefest, Sistafest, Farmer Phil’s Fest and Sunrise Celebration to name a few.
